Chairman’s Chat!

We have had two very interesting and diverse all day events since the Gala dinner. In May, we hosted award-winning wedding photographer and Gala dinner judge Pete Bristow to deliver a wedding seminar. The delegates all found him an enlightening, amusing and most refreshing speaker, with supreme energy and enthusiasm that was almost exhausting!  His ‘gay wedding’ slideshow was hilarious. In June, we welcomed back our digital guru Mike MacNamee to explain some of the mysteries of Photoshop CS4. Mike covered a range of topics and knotty problems to a full house of puzzled, bemused and appreciative listeners.

 Next month (July 15^th) a date not to be missed, when we hear all those little titbits of celebrity gossip from Neil Marland, the former Granada Studios stills photographer. We need, and welcome your support for all these events and look forward to seeing a good turnout.

Find out what it’s like to work with the stars and how to handle egos! Neil has a wealth of interesting stories with accompanying images.
